NISP is part funded by Defra through its Business Resource Efficiency and Waste (BREW) Programme.
Defra's Business Resource Efficiency and Waste (BREW) Programme uses money derived from increases in Landfill Tax to encourage, support and help businesses improve their resource efficiency. The BREW Programme has been developed in consultation with business representatives, Treasury, and DTI to meet this need.
The following regions receive additional funding:
NISP Scotland - Scottish Executive, Scottish Environment Protection Agency and Scottish Enterprise
NISP North East - One North East.
NISP North West - North West Development Agency
NISP Yorkshire and Humber - Yorkshire Forward and the European Union European Regional Development Fund
NISP West Midlands - Advantage West Midlands
NISP Wales - The Welsh Assembly Government
NISP London - London Development Agency
