Waste wood used to generate electricity

After approaching NISP North East, East Durham Partnership have found a cheaper and greener solution for unwanted furniture that had been destined for landfill. Unwanted furniture from the re-use charity is now delivered to UK Wood Recycling at Wilton. There it is chipped and used to fuel Wilton 10 which generates electricity for the National Grid.
