The NISP East of England team was invited to partner the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers to organise Construction Waste – the road to zero? Conference. The event was held on the 29th October 2009 at the AirSpace Conference Centre, Imperial War Museum, Duxford. The conference brought together a number of organisations from local authorities, construction, civil engineering and waste management sectors. Delegates were presented with an overview of the Site Waste Management Plan regulations and progress and experience to date, and also with solutions for dealing with construction waste.
