Peter Laybourn, NISP Programme Director explains: “NISP’s success to date has to be attributed to the incredible support we receive from industry. NISP was established in response to demand by industry and continues to support its industry members to identify business opportunities that also result in increased resource productivity.”
Keith Riley, Technical Services Director of Veolia Environmental Services and Chairman of the NISP South East programme advisory groups sums up why NISP plays an important role in the success of UK industry. He said: “Returning resources to productive use is becoming an integral part of economic activity. It is vital therefore that businesses have knowledge of what is available in order to trade resources easily. I can think of no better platform for achieving this than through NISP. Industrial Symbiosis are big words, but NISP makes it simple and straightforward.”
