David-Huw Owen is responsible for the commercial development of NISP and its related projects.
David graduated from Cardiff University with an MEng in Civil Engineering and a PhD in geoenvironmental numerical modelling. Since then he has managed numerous international collaborative research projects related to contaminated land, reclamation, remediation and industrial waste management. He has served a number of committees and forums, published over 30 papers and has led the coordination of almost 100 public engagement events including national workshops, seminars and International Conferences and Congresses. He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
In 2006 he was seconded to the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) to work on a West African Regional Project in both Nigeria and Ghana dealing with persistent organic pollutants in the environment.
