Since April 2007 NISP Scotland has reduced industrial waste by 312,000 tonnes, cut carbon emissions by 194,430 tonnes and generated £4.19 million cost savings for its 2000+ members based on an investment of just £1.15 million.

Enterprising Solution for the M74

Balfour Beatty Regional Civil Engineering as part of the Interlink M74 JV were keen to use locally sourced materials in construction of the M74 Completion Project. NISP put them in touch with Scottish Enterprise who had 25 000T of clay available from excavations at the Cambuslang Investment Park Site. This material was used as general fill in the project.
