NISP were able to facilitate a relationship between Befesa Salt Slags Limited and numerous foundries within the West Midlands. This has resulted in the successful diversion of over 10,000 tonnes of waste foundry sand being diverted away from landfill.

From 1st April, 2010 WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) will be the single point of contact for businesses and organisations looking for support and guidance on improving their resource efficiency.
International Synergies will promote and implement Industrial Symbiosis in England under contract to WRAP.
