Sustainable Development Dialogue is more than just Plain Sailing

Through a NISP introduction, 80 tonnes of oil-contaminated metal grindings have been reclassified as non-hazardous and is now being recycled rather than disposed of to hazardous landfill, saving virgin materials and reducing costs significantly.

From 1st April, 2010 WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) will be the single point of contact for businesses and organisations looking for support and guidance on improving their resource efficiency.
International Synergies will promote and implement Industrial Symbiosis in England under contract to WRAP.
