Zero Waste
Zero Waste Scotland is the new programme created by the Scottish Government to support delivery of its Zero Waste Plan.
NISP Scotland has been operating since April 2003 and is currently working with a wide variety of companies across the region, including Scotia Gas Networks, Wiseman Dairies, and Laing O’Rourke Scotland Ltd.

Case Studies - NISP in Action

Enterprising Solution for the M74

Balfour Beatty Regional Civil Engineering as part of the Interlink M74 JV were keen to use locally sourced materials in construction of the M74 Completion Project. NISP put them in touch with Scottish Enterprise who had 25 000T of clay available from excavations at the Cambuslang Investment Park Site. This material was used as general fill in the project.
