Nigel is responsible for NISP Scotland, one of the business support programmes funded by the Scottish Government.

Nigel gained his first degree in Chemistry from Oxford, followed by a PhD with the CEGB at Berkeley Nuclear Laboratories. Between 1988 and 2003 he was with BP, based at their petrochemical complex in Grangemouth and working in technical and change management roles. In 2004 he completed a full-time MBA at Edinburgh University, followed by one year as Business Development Manager with siGEN in the Hydrogen and Fuel Cells sector.
